Default Sparco Harnesses...install

I have Recaro seats and just got an great deal on two new Sparco 4 point harnesses. I was wondering how to install these without drilling holes into the car. Is there a correct way to do so? Now on the end of the belts there are metal hooks for the bolt to screw the harnesses down. I currectly have two bottom ones bolted to where the seat bolts to the floor and the top two bolted to the rear upper strut tower brace. What I have works but if there is an better way I can not think of it. I am ready so FLAME AWAY GUYS! It seems for every 10 smartasses there is 2 good on here.

would a role bar help?.. that is what I seen when searching. what is a role bar?

You shouldn't use a harness without a rollbar. Because if you car rolls over and you are strapped in with your harness you head will be smashed by the roof.

Here is a pic of someones roll bar you can see how the harness wrap around the bar.

is there a difference in a rollgage and a roll bar? is the bar just the on that goes behind the seat? would I have to cut the metal things off the end of the harness to get it to wrap around it right?

the one that goes behind the seat is called a harness bar but most roll cages have them. a roll bar usually just goes around the roof of the car i think. you really should wrap it around the bar somehow, otherwise you could brake your spine if the harness pulls down too far on your shoulders. this is not good.

roll bar is behind the seats .......I'm not sure about cutting the ends off but that makes sense.

You can buy a premade roll bar from a company call AutoPower or you can have some one make you a custom one. If you post up in the welding forum lots of those guys can make custom roll bars.
