Default HF adapter?

I'm putting a homemade turbo kit for my lil bro's civic. Does anybody know what a HF adapter this guy is talking about?

I see he says its not included..

Its an adapter plate..It allows the turbo to be bolted to the manifold..
On on side of the plate it is made to fit the manifold and on the other its made to fit the turbo...In this case you need a t3/t4 4-bolt adapter plate..I've seen them go for around $30-$40 off ebay..And they're always for on homemadeturbo.com in the classifieds..

Ive seen he's welded on the pipe for an external wastegate..Dont know if his welding skills are that good..

And delta wastegates are know to have boost creep..They've blown up alot of motors from overboosting..

That turbo was originally internal wastegate so I'm geussing he welded the wastegate flapper shut..Make sure how he did it before purchasing

cool, thanks.
He said it was professionally welded, but since the manifold is cast, there's always a chance of failure.
I think i'm gonna get it.

Aren't there cheap turbo manifolds available?

(DON'T BUY FROM DROPSHOP)

If so, I would go with that. Looks much nicer to me.

Personaly I think the "adaptor plate" is sorta ghetto. But I know a lot of people who use 'em.
