im trying to use a HF manifold with a t3 turbo i got out of a saab..problem is that the wastegate(internal) is hitting the block and wont allow for the turbo to bolt up

......so can i take of the internal wastegate and use an external wastgate with the hf manifold.... is that even possible

 

yes, just block off the passage, many people weld the flapper shut.

then use an external gate.

 

how would i add on an external wastegate to a Hf manifold

 

i dont know if you could economically, you might need to find a different manifold.
