Broken Clutch possibly
So the other day I got to a stop light and I couldnt get it into any gear. The Problem seems simple, I can shift into gears when the motor is shut off but if I start the car in 1st gear it trys to go forward as the motor is cranking. I have replaced the slave and master cylinders. I guess now its time to go in for the clutch and look at the disc and pressure plate? Any ideas or experiences on what this might be? Any help is appreciated, thanks

Be nice if you had an engine hoist then the limited engine bay space wouldn't be an issue and you could just lift it all out at once and put back in at once, also makes lininup up the input shaft a lot easier.
•Best suggestions, only remove the lower control arms to get the axles out
•remove the passenger side mount from the transmission, but not from the car, if not using an engine hoist it makes it easier trying to get the input shaft back in because you will have space to wiggle it around.
•remove the front stopper bracket from the car but not the transmission.
•Start searching for a 6 inch by 6 board to support on top of the jack
•label and categorize your bolts by category such as all transmission bolts in one bag, individual bags for transmission mount bolts, different bag for rear transmission mount bolts, ecetera, ecetera
*not necessary, but I drained my coolant because the thermostat housing got in the way and for every drop that dripped from it before I drained it, was every swear word I wanted to say when I laid in coolant
•drop the shifter linkage down instead of removing the so called "b!tch" pin from the linkage
•get a clutch alignment tool for your car
•use a larger flat head screwdriver to lock between the teeth of the flywheel to keep it from spinning when you are trying to get the clutch off

it could be the pressureplate
it could be the fork
you dont know that.
bottom line is the transmission has to come off.

but other things can cause that symptom. thats what im saying. the disc is most likley, but not the only absolute cause.

If you don't have a breaker bar I suggest getting one and now will be as good a time as any to have a torque wrench since you will need it come time to put everything back in.
I would also advise removing just the charge pipe and the downpipe after the splash guard is off. Hope you have a Helms or some time of manual as well. Good luck man.
