Default B16A TIMING

is the timing set the same on a jdm head as you would a us/canada head. i have a frank motor with b18a1 block and b16a vtec head. getting fire to the plugs and getting fuel. the timing is set up like a us car would be. is this right or what else could it be.

Same as a USDM motor as you are using this great american fuel (i.e. relative low octane)

This is gonna sound stupid but my b16 swap just shut off on me once and wouldn't start again. I was getting spark, fuel...everything. I eventually took the cap off the dizzy and the rotor was mangled. So it was sending delayed spark. Just a shot in the dark, but worth a look.
