Default Mount problem for H22 swap in a 5th Gen.

Ok im doing a swap for a friend and i ran into a pretty big problem, and that being the driver side mount. Which one do i use, or could i cut this piece off and make it fit: (off a F22)

Left is F22 mount and H22 mount:

And this is the only mount i have to go with them, it only fits the F22 mount. Do i need to get a prelude version of this mount?

TIA!

You will need an entire H22 top and lower part for the driver's side mount.

You could basically use the prelude mount and prelude bracket, but you have to grind down the mount to fit. What I do on my accord is ... I used my accord mount on the prelude bracket, and drill another hole for the other bolt with a electrical driller.

Nice choice for a swap, the H22a is a great motor for playing with imo. Hoping to boost one some day.

opening the frame is not as easy as you think. just use the lude mount and grind it down a little bit. that is what i did and it fits perfectly.

You are right. If you widen the space, the threads on the welded-on nut towards the firewall where the long bolt screws into might not be in line anymore. The best way is to grind down the prelude mount. It should take 5 minutes.
