Default for all of the boosted h22's

my freind has an h22 swap he's about to boost.

we're wondering if the stock fpr's are weak? he has a high pressure walbro 255 fuel pump. he's going to be running around 15-17psi (on a built/sleeved motor) also should he get a fuel rail too or will the stock one be ok?

what brand fpr's are good? i heard aem sucks
what brand fuel rail?

This isnt rocket science, there isnt 10000psi going through a fuel rail, therefore any rail will be fine. aem, str, venom, im sure obx has one out there.

As far as fitment though, i can only recommend aem to you since i have it with zero problems.

I dont know about fpr's, I doubt the aem one sucks THAT bad. If any of them suck its the b&m.

The AEM or any other aftermarket fuel rail won't make any different than the stock one, it is just a waste of money. Trust me on this! Stock fuel rail is just fine. I have AEM fuel pressure regulator and it is suck a$$. I have it on the car about a year. I have to re-adjust the fuel pressure every couple weeks, because the pressure jumps up couple psi slowly by itself over the time. Right now the diaphragm inside the regulator is so messed up. It makes the psi not accurate anymore. I will put back the stock one soon.

I've had mine for over 2 years now and haven't had an issue.

No, it's not. What just IS psi? Not too relevant.

i use sx .if your friend has spent the money on the bottom end "generally speaking" why not do the fuel system right to .i run 2 fuel pumps one for the motor and one for the pro race fogger set up ,each system is reg .i am looking for over 700 hp w/just the turbo.this car will be out at the first of summer, and i will have pics and dyno sheets also, wish me luck?

haha, like car_boy_16 said, amount of psi doesnt matter. there are many factors are mixed into this, like what size turbo your using, ect..

Nope. If you have a standalone (like you SHOULD if you're pushing major HP) then you can simply tune down the injector's pulsewidth to decrease the amount of fuel being sprayed into the combustion chamber.

Its a generic system, 6AN fittings, it will work with stock fuel lines and fuel filter if you want to though, I used to have it connected to my stock fuel filter
