i am converting my car from obd0-obd1....
can i use a dizzy from a 98 civic which is obd2?
the obd1 dizzy i have is junk.
please help.....i am running out of daylight

but i have a 91 civic,..98 d16y7 w/ a 93 d16z6 head on it.

ive read on here that you can, idk i havent tried it

 

ok...i am getting no fire....and i can not hear the fuel pump come on when i use the conversion harness and the p06 ecu i have. i think the ecu is junk...maybe the new conversion harness is bad..but i doubt that. a friend of mine converted my p06 from auto to stick..with the rp18 and rp17 and a jumper or some ****. maybe he fried the ecu. damn piece of **** car.

 

I think that the wiring is the same on OBD1 and OBD2 dizzys.

 

Ya, i think its the same too, the wire locations are the same, just a diff plug. The reason I asked about the cars eng was because I needed to know if it was a d or b.
