Default obd0-odb1 conv. question.....

i am converting my car from obd0-obd1....
can i use a dizzy from a 98 civic which is obd2?
the obd1 dizzy i have is junk.
please help.....i am running out of daylight

Yes, I believe you can use it, the sensors are the same.

Yep, Just get the service manual out and match the wires sensor for sensor. The "color for color" method does not work w/ the obd2 dizzies.

ok...i am getting no fire....and i can not hear the fuel pump come on when i use the conversion harness and the p06 ecu i have. i think the ecu is junk...maybe the new conversion harness is bad..but i doubt that. a friend of mine converted my p06 from auto to stick..with the rp18 and rp17 and a jumper or some ****. maybe he fried the ecu. damn piece of **** car.
