Just remember, the price everyone will give you is NOT the hawaii price. You cant accurately compare any other prices with Hawaii's, as everyone will be much lower. I used to live over there, so I know how expensive stuff can be.

i dont think anyones going to be able to tell you what a local shop near you would charge to do it. they could pad the **** out of the hours and screw you big time if they wanted. the best way to avoid that is:

do it yourself.

or

get as much info as you can about the swap using the search feature here. buy real mounts and shift linkage from hasport or avid, send your harness out to hasport to get done. this way, all they have to do is pycially pull the old, put in the new, then plug everything in and possibly troubleshoot a few small things.

if the engine you buy has sat for a while do the gaskets/seals...all of them. even if it means you have to wait another paycheck to get the engine in, then wait dont rush it and find a leak later on.

but anyway, i got off topic. the best adivce i can give you is dont just "let them figure it out" ever. unless your lucky enogh to find someone whos done a lot of crx swaps before (which could happen) then you need to make it idiot proof or they will make it your problem financially.

sorry to seem so cynical.

also put something specific in the title of a thread to get more help, "question" means 95% of people will skip the thread.

the ls motor is fun in a crx. good luck.
