Amp turning off

Default Amp turning off

what wires needed to be connected for the amp to stay on..
when i hook up the remote power and group and rca cable it turns on. then after like 20 secs the amp turns off. then when i move around the rca cable it turns back on..
can it be a bad rca wire shuttin the amp off

Are your RCA's grounding out against anything? Each other? Thats what it sounds like. Check out your ground as well. And make sure the Remote wire has 12v and not less than 10.

i was having the same problem, i hooked up 2 sets of rca's , but as soon as i hooked up hte second set it'd go into protection. so i just hooked up one set. POS>
its an earthquake amp. old school.

yes ive checked it all.. and it still has that problem when i wiggle the wires up and down it comes on for like 15secs then turns off or if i bang it it turns on. and when it turns on when i take out the rca wires it stays on..

help i need my bass

help i need my bass</TD></TR></TABLE>You have a "cold solder joint" on the PC board, its probably on the trigger wire, its just when you move the RCAs it moves the board. 94

it turns off an on if i push terminals down i think it shorting out. but i don't knwo what to check

your wires are faulty OR as you've already been told you have a cold solder joint. wires are easy to fix but if it's the cold solder joint, you have to disassemble the amp and re-solder whatever joint is faulty. Usually not worth it.

i tried two different rca wires. still same **** i opened it up and couldn't find anything
