Default Do a D16Z6 and turbo it or H22???

I just bought my friends 94 2 dr. coupe which needs some cosmetic help(front end) and since he wanted to keep the motor,stockD15B7??? I need to do drop a motor. So it is going to be all go and no show, I don't know what an H22 is capable of in a 2dr. coupe? I know a guy around here with a 2dr. coupe with a D16Z6 turboed and the best he's been able to pull out of it is a 13.7 1/4 mile. I am limited to about $2000 not including the price of the motor. Any Help???
