Can a Civic EX tranny be install on a Civic HX??

Has anyone being successfully installed an EX civic tranny on their HX civic or is this even possible? If so, please let me know. Very much appreciated!

are you talking about the manual tranny or the CVT
I know the manual trannies can be swapped, but I don't know about the autos.

I don't think the auto trannies can be. Bump for someone with a 100% sure answer.

So you have an HX automatic,
why would you want to get rid of the CVT?

I believe you should be fine...Compare driveshaft part numbers on a parts site, fi they match your fine!
