Default ctr pistons

looking to put ctr pistons in my b16a should i hone the block or just put the pisons in the moter has about 40,000 miles on it also my friend had a problehem with the pistons hitting the spark plugs ne one else had this problehem how do i get it to run right

i have ctr pistons on my b16, i would hone the cylinder cuz u need the new piston rings to seat with the walls...otherwise u might get blow by or what not...it pings a bit for me the higher octane u get the less it pings, with good spark plugs will help also.

u will also need to shave off a mill on the inside of the piston for the rod and the piston to go good... it doesn't cost that much at all just do it when u get the pistons and the rods together.

or mill off 1mm on each side off the rod to fit the piston.
