Default Significant Oil Loss - HELP! weirdness.....

ok, motor is a 2000 b16a2 in an EG.

per previous owner:
-Compression test was 210+ all across (not sure how long ago, must be recent)
-CTR intake cam
-STRAIGHT PIPE...no cat
-Changed oil 2000 miles ago
-30k on swap
-Custom ECU program runs super rich

im losing about a quart of oil in 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. car smokes under acceleration, black smoke (runs really rich...REALLY RICH). i could have sworn ive seen white smoke, and a friend told me he saw white smoke, yet that makes no sense, the car does not over heat nor have i lost ANY coolant.

i have not seen any VISIBLE leaks. i could smell oil burning when i drive at times. car idle's really weird in the mornings...fluctuates and feels like it is going to stall. CTR cam might be the culprit?

any ideas???

valves or piston rings might be a problem, but i hope not....no time/$ to tear my daily driver apart.

Do a dry then wet (oil) compression test. If the number go up (a nice jump) in the wet test then the dry, it is your rings (most likley).

Does the car smoke when you first start it up?
how rich it very rich? Fuel can wash out the rings if there is a lot gas in the compression stroke.

Jesus, throw a stock ECU in there. that is crazy.

Do the compression test like I said before. Remember to disable fuel and spark.
