gears stuck
Lately, sometimes when I start in first, my car feels like it is about to stall no matter how much gas I give it. The other night, I was leaving my friends house and when I came up to a stop sign, I couldn't put it in to gear, I went through every gear and it wouldn't budge. Finally about five min. later, it loosened up. I didn't drive it more than a few miles or a couple of days. Today, however, it started to tighten up again and was harder to put in gear. What do you think is the problem. (FYI, I checked my tranny fluid and there seems to be enough, and it pretty clean) Thanks for any input.
that actually happened with the cable about two months or so ago, so it was replaced. So I don't think that would be it, also, the tension in the clutch seems to be, for the most part, fairly normal most of the time. Thanks for the suggestion though.

If its a hydro trans, check your slave and your fluid level. I know when a slave is starting to go bad, it will catch really low or not engage or disengage at all, until you pump it up.
