Default Autometer Nexus Gauges

Hi, i didnt know which forum to put this in, so i decided to put it here. I just wanted to see if you guys have seen the new autometer line of gauges, and if you have what you think of them, an dif you havent check them out and let me know. I think they are alright, kinda like defi, well heres the web site and some more info.

As for pricing, the individual gauges with senders will sell for
approximately $199-249.00 each. The Sensor Module and Remote is sold as
a kit for approximately $199. This is required for Nexus gauge
operation.

The initial lineup is for the following 7 gauges:

6455: Water Temp (100-260)
6459: Boost/Vac (30 In. Hg. / 30 PSI)
6445: EGT (0-2,000)
6453: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI)
6456: Oil Temperature (140-300)
6474: Nitrous Pressure (0-1600)
6463: Fuel Pressure (100 PSI)
6400: Sensor Module + Remote Control

So, you wouldn't mind investing......1,000 dollars for gauges instead of getting a stand alone engine management system?

Yeah thats it , did the title or post say anything about me buying them, no, i was just letting people know about them, just kind of a cool extra, IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY, cheaper than some gauges.

I know what you mean.

OnT: Seems like these gauges would be more for car shows as they are flashy and you can have the needles doing the "simulation run" when the car is off.

Those gauges look awesome. Autometer has been behind on styling of gauges. I have their carbon gauges in my car and the lighting on them suck.

Hey, if you are going to do some kind of brain for gauges, may as well put in a lot of options!

you have the carbon fiber and they suck, i was just gettting ready to buy those, have you heard good about the cobalt, that is my second choice?

cobalt = the Mustang Cobra owners recommend them. 1 for visibility and 2, they best match the Cobras stock gauges.

Don't get me wrong, the CF gauges look good during the day, but the way the light works at night is something to be desired. Its kinda like a glow ring around the CF face, the numbers don't glow at all. So its hard to read at night.
