92 Accord, High RPM's?
I have a quick question about my 1992 Accord 4D EX. I've been doing alot of interstate driving lately and I've noticed that when going about 80mph, the RPMs sit around 4k. This seems a little high and absolutely destroys my gas mileage, I was wondering if there was anything I could do to possibly bring that down (other than go slower).
Thanks
Thanks

Like 22-23 mpg on the interstate. Can't go much faster than 80, if I go 90 gas milage is just horrible.

Which would mean what?

Well out of my 91 with a slushbox I only get around 23, and its been like that since new. I doesnt appear that there are any problems with you car.
I'll check my air filter, it hasn't been too long since I replaced it last. Is it every 15k or 30k miles?
It is an automatic with no mods. Doesn't feel like its slipping, it actually shifts very smooth.
Thanks everyone. Nice to know its just an old, slow car rather than something that may be wrong.
