Default question about cam gear

im building an sohc for boost, a6 block, y8 head, eagle rods, vitara pistons, hastings rings, acl bearings, and im wondering if this cam gear is at all decent??? its an ebay special but the only positive i notice is the 5 tension bolts....

I'd stick with a quality name brand one. Skunk2, AEM, Golden Eagle, DC, are just a few that come to mind. At the very least, you'll know that the timing marks will be a accurate.

i would get a skunk2 cam gear. i got that on my 95 ex and works really well. i got mine from http://www.rms-usa.com i think its a pretty good site. should be somewhere around 120 including shipping. i also advanced it 3 degrees (which should be 1 and a half marks). Its running strong. Good luck to you.
