Default cam gear question

Alright i orderd a skunk2 cam gear for my sohc. WEll it got here, brand new. But i dont see how its goin to work. THere is a keeper that holds the cam gear to the cam. ON the stock cam gear there is a built in keeper that holds it in place. But on the skunk2 there is just an empty slit. So ther eis no way of locking it into the cam. that was really hard to word to understand. Maybe someone has some insite and understands what im sayin

Take off the keeper and add it to your new cam gear....

most likely you will need what is called a "woodruff key"..
You can probably find one at a hardware store or auto parts store..
