Default LS Swap... what is needed????

Ok, I've been trying to search forever but everytime I wanna use it, its down. Anyway, I can't find much, but I want to do a LS Swap in my 95 DX Coupe, what is needed to do so? I know some but not sure of some of the details.

What I know:
- LS Motor/Tranny
- Axles
- All Motor Mounts

What I'm not sure of about details:
- LS Wiring harness but which OBD? gotta match the motor right? How would I know what motor I bought?
- ECU (which one)???

I'm not sure if thats all thats needed but I would appreciate any and all help, DX motor isn't gonna last too much longer and its slow too, lol.... thanks for help guys

Hey man. Check out the stickies @ the top of the first page. There is lots of good swap info in there. Also check out the hybrid section. There is even a B18B swap into 5th gens thread goin on the first page too,Maybe you can get some help from there.

all 94-01 engines, mounts, axles, wiring harness, linkage and everything wil bolt right in. doesnt matter the obd. just as long as you have thr right computer.

no you can not use your civic hatness, integra harness = 4 wire o2, civic harness = single wire o2, you can use them, but youll have to modify it. but if you get an obd2 swap, you would have to either change out the injectors, or the plugs... just get the harness that comes with the engine swap and use that.... its easier

^ no your wrong. it depends on what modle civic he has. CX had the 2 wire o2 and i think the vx might, or it might have a 5 wire, but idk that might be the HX 96-00

You use 94+ integra axles and 1/2 shaft.
all stock civic and integra mounts
Use your existing civic harness.
Use the Integra ECU.
and your set.

the obd2 hx does have 5 wires, as does the obd1 vx. i remember hearing that some civic has a 7 wire, but i cant remember what it was.

here it is, u have a 95 dx. u need either a pr4 (obd1) ecu or a p75 (obd1) ecu. id suggest getting the ls wiring harness so that u know everthing is the right lengeth. u can use the dx harness i just am not sure about fitment. u need the integra mounts, axles and intermediate shaft, shift linkage, exhaust manifold (or header). i think thats all. if i remember anything else ill edit this. if u guys arguing would have read his post he put he has a 95 dx, so why argue about hx's, vx's and cx's?

because we were clearing up mis-information for anyone else reading. The dx harness will work, i've done plenty of swaps, use your existing harness!

either way, the integra harness is wired for a 4 wire o2... therefore thats the one you can use. i didnt say you CANT use the DX harness, well i did, and i didnt. it would have to modified to work. if youre going to do it, do it right the first time.

I'm also putting together a B18B swap. I want to make sure I have everything I need before I start putting the motor in, can't be without a car for too long
