Default A few questions about my engine swap

Ok I am doing a Y8 swap in my 91 Civic Si. I have/had rebuilt it and there are a few questions I have.

1)What is this black box on the back of the block?

2) This piece is bent, do I need to replace it or is it ok? If so what do I do?

3) The guy I baught the block from said that he was running turbo on it and it spun a bearing thats why he was selling it. If I am correct you tap the block on the back of the motor, where is it on this block or is it there at all?

Thanks, Doug

1.is the oil breather chamber,It works in conjunction with the PCV valve
to releave crankcase pressure in the valve cover and separate the oil from it..

2. Alignment dowel for the transmission..I would replace it..
Remove by heating the area around it and lubing it with penetrating oil
Vise-grips or a screw extractor might work..

3.Right above the oil filter is a hole for the pressure switch..They may have tapped into that...

So if they tapped into that what do I do to it? I won't be running turbo for awhile, just put a bolt in it?

1. I'm not sure what the black box is for i do know that it's part of the pcv valve system 2. usally the oil pressure sensor is teed off for the oil line 3. thats the dowl pin for the transmission if you dont replace that the trans could be misaligned and you can end up blowing your trans really fast

Could I just use the oil pressure switch off of my A6 block?
