Default turbo traveling

I recently boosted my 02 accord and I'm wondering if its safe to drive from college to home with the car, the trip is about 500 miles and I'll make it in one day. Setup is on a 4cyl stock, gt28rs spools by 3200 with me on 8lbs. My setup includes a fuel pump, fpr, and 440 injectors. Is it safe to make the drive, and should I take precautions to stay out of boost by crusing at or below 2500. Thanks for any help

You could cruise at 4500 RPM's at low throttle and you wouldn't make boost because boost is a function of load.

Don't beat on it too much, I know the highways are tempting, but stay off the throttle.

lets say full boost kicks in at 3500rpm right, when you are the highway and in 5th gear at 3500rpm with holding the gas pedal lightly(not pressed down all the way). Would you be boosting? Or boost will only kick in when you have the gas pedal to the floor? I am still confuse about that, can someone explain it to me. thanks

Boost will only kick in when it is mashed to the floor and when it is on the pedal quite a bit. On my gsr I can cruise at even 5000 rpm's without being in boost...
