Camshaft for LS-Turbo..worth it????
I'm thinking about getting some crower cams for my ls with dual valve springs and retainers...does it really help with crower turbo/nos cams??? anyone know....????
I'd think so. Tony Starks has a stock block LS, with a ls head that has some work done to it, and he's pushing 300whp with 8psi or some ****.
hmmmmm..sound pretty good...cause people say stock is perfect for turbo all motor uses camshaft...so i dont know...i think it might help...

you should have more than 220 hp with just the turbo kit alone.....I'd like to know more about this as well since I already have a Turbo'd LS. I'm thinking about building up the head too. Need more info so back to the top.
Headwork and the 402t's are in my future as well. I am trying to get my car on the dyno but, I am sure it is making at least 220whp and I am only on 9psi from a garrett TA3107 (low CFM) turbo. You should be way past your goal with the cams and some mild headwork

So should i get the trubo crower cam and valve springs and retainers?....anyone have them in their car....espcially for turbo....
yeah..but i heard that you can worn out the valve springs and retainer faster with turbo-setup... i dont mind getting 300hp but if it does help that much i might just get it...before i get the car tune...
head work, IM, and cams are a must for the LS motor if you're in the market for more power from your trusty non-vtec motor. once i get my copper o-rings replaced and headgasket to seal properlly(maybe the reason i was misfiring), i'm gonna go look for some 402T or 403 cams since i sold my regular 402 cams to my cousin. once i get everything in place, i should hopefully make my 400whp on pump and under 20psi goal.
and if your goal is just 220whp then cams are not needed. you could easily surpass 250whp with just the turbo kit alone on your stock LS.

Switching from stock ls cams to the 402t it made about 30 whp more after tuning. 368whp on a stock bore ls, stock head with ferrea springs/retainers. They are nice cams!
yeah..i think i'll get it......i will probably go with crower cams cause i dont know any other brand that makes ls turbo cams?
