ive had my swap a while, just forgot to post this, why doesnt the jdm ctr have a vtec oil pressure switch? i dont think my friends jdm ITR has one either. any reason for this? engine still works fine, im just asking the uestion so i know
because in japan they need to be able to hit vtec at any moment, therefore they leave the vtec pressure switch off. j/k i've heard this but dont know the reason
**** chris, i had a whole write up about this somewhere. imma find it. remember that guy i sent u a pic of his b16? from europe and it didnt have one? ill try and find that post. its gotta be somewhere. someone explained it.

usdm motors all have it.... but if u EVER wire ur own vafc the manuel tells u to cut the oil pressure wire and leave it...i have a 00 GSR change over in my eg and i dont run oil pressure....works great w/o it...
