Removing copper O-ring on sleeved block

okay, what tools are needed to make the job easier? what methods? feedback from anyone who has attempted or have done this will be greatly appreciated!

Here is the easiest way:
Get a used drill bit about 1/4 or larger ( must be a drill bit because the metal is hard enough and won't fold over or bend! )
Grind the bit until it has a flat wedge on it a little thinner than the o-ring groove.( like a mini chisel )
Lightly tap it into the wire ( be sure not to miss and hit the sleeve )
This should cut the wire and allow you to lift the wire out with ease.
