connector wire questions
i recently had issues with my idle surging i checked the FICV and tightend it up then started the car and the idle was fixed went to check under the hood found out that the IACV was unpluged pluged it back in and the idle went ruff again. Read some topics and diys on both systems . Thought back to when i got the motor both FICV and IACV where off my motor was semi disassembled when i got it and i put it back together. Now im reading that the FICV and IACV both have gaskets i didnt remeber putting 1 on each of them so they said this could cause a huge vacuume leak. So i sprayed carb cleaner on the IACV and the carb cleaner was sucked right in so i think ill order some gaskets in the morning hope this solves my issue.

I would not trust that site, some of their "mods" are stupid . . . advancing ignition without a light? or disconnecting your fuel pressure regulator to run bring up psi.
