Default NEED HELP ON MY 4TH GENERATION LUDE, REALLY NEED TO KNOW!

alright, i bought a 1992 4th generation prelude yesterday after driving, checking everything out, etc. but... there was one thing that really puzzled me... the car drove great but it wouldnt let you floor it, if you floored it, even starting at low rpm it would let off. but if you put about 3/4 throttle it would go fine and you could redline etc. the feeling was weird, and i dont know if there is a rev/throttle limiter that acts like this or not... what do you think it is???

I agree with hondafiend check the throttle positioning sensor. I can't think of anything else that would cause that at the moment.

I say unless it's something minor that can be easily fixed before you buy the car, don't buy someone else's problem.
