main relay symptoms even though I have a NEW main relay
Car starts fine in the morning when it is cold. I then drive the car for 15-20 minutes to really get it warmed up. Shut it down. Go to start it again and it cranks and cranks (fuel pump is not turning on), but will not start. Let it cool down for 10 minutes and then it starts again (and runs great).
I have my battery in the trunk. Does this have anything to do with it? Is there another relay that may have to be replaced?

i thought mine was the main relay also and i had a dry cell relocated also but it ended up being that i needed to switch the gauge of wire i used to relocate my battery to 4 gauge i was using 8 gauge lol...........one way to test run it to it gets hot shut it off make sure it wont start then get your friends to give you a jump if it starts then its the wires to your battery if not then its the main relay
Are you still DPFI?? Cuz I used to have that problem in my DX. I checked the injectors and wiring and everything was fine. It ended up being something in the ECU.
That's why I switched to MPFI!!!!

The motor is MPFI and I am throwing no codes. I am currently running 4 gauge to the battery. I might have to upgrade the power wire that goes to the ecu as I am using something like a 12 gauge for that currently.

that is def a main relay symptom since it powers the injectors as well.
