NEED HELP LS SWAP WITH FULLY BUILT GSR AND ITR ECU THROWING CODE
I HAVE AN 97 INTEGRA LS AND I PUT A FULLY BUILT GSR AND ITR TRANNY AND ECU. I HAVEN'T GOT THE CHANCE TO WIRE THE VTEC YET AND I'M THROWING A CIDE IT ALSO REDLINES AT 7000RPMS. IS THE REASON BECAUSE THE VTEC ISNT WIRED UP AND IF SO WHAT WOULD THAT FIX THE PROBLEM. ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A LIST OF WHAT ALL THE CODES MEAN FOR A 97 INTEGRA OBD2.
as far as vtec not engaging yes it will lower you rev limiter im not sure about the code for that year car but i think all you have to do is jump a wire over from somewhere under the dash and the check engine light will flash
vtec isn't even wired up yet. also is there anywhere i can go to get a list off all the codes for this car obd2.
the only thing i can think of is to go to auto zone and look at one of there books for your car cause i dont know the codes for your year car
ive never seen no vtec lower the rev limit, so you may have another issue
here are ECU codes, they are the same for your car

If your vtec is not wired, you will experience a check engine light, lower rev limit, retarded timing and increased fuel. Finish your wiring and then look for a code.
