Default seized rotors??

My rotors are rusted/ seized onto the hub. the 2 screws that hold the rotor on are stuck there.

Whats the best way to get these suckers off?

Try an impact wrench. One of the hammer-operated ones should do the trick. (You can get one at Sears.)

It's an "Impact Driver" or basicaly a screw driver w/ the steel shaft sticking out the back of the handle for hitting w/ a hammer. apply a good twisting force while striking it repeatedly. It will come off.

Put some penetrating oil on first.....wait a bit.....then like David said - Impact hammer. Be sure and use a large enough phillips head bit to fit the screw. If you have never used one before ...you just want to rap it hard once or twice to break it free.

If you strip out the screws, so to Sears and get the EZouts.

drill them out, if the rotor is still siezed on, then grab your biggest hammer.

as long as it isnt covered in much flamable liquid... Try a light blowtorching... sometimes this can help loosen up some sticky or rusty metal by expanding molecules and etc.... used same method changing my rotors and even a few rusty exhaust bolts... worked like a charm..

DONT MELT IT THOUGH... just heat it up and use an impact hammer
