this is a knock monitor. i was wondering if anyone had put one in a civic. we used to use them in the buicks. is it as easy as running a wire from my unused knock sensor?
for those that havent seen it,

i do not know, but i am gonna try and hook up the ks on my motor to the user input on my wideband datalogger. i am running a p28 w/ uberdata on a y8 head with y7 block and a 14b. pulls pretty friggin hard for a mere 9lbs in my cx hatch!!

i did about 45 seconds of research on a guage simliar to this (used in gm's mostly gran nationals) and to make it work you need the gm knock sensor; the little controly thingy it connects to and the gauge. I found a whole kit (gauge; controller; sensor; wires) on ebay not too long ago for about $100.
Thats about the extent of my research so dont take it too seriously
/edit: just checked the link and it says you need the "ESC" unit to make it work. I dont see why it wouldn't work with a compatible knock sensor esc unit and a gauge
i think im gunna go look more into this
