Default knock sensor bypass?

I currently am running a 1999 Civic EX with a OBDI converion. Currently my knock sensor is, shall we say, not working. I didn't know if there was a way to by pass it by grounding it out. Some people say yes, some say no. On a P28 ECU - can you by pass it? Thanks guys!

didn't think the p28 had a knock sensor... but yeah go ground it or tap it somewhere on the block.

Yup, like BCRUZ and everyone else said, no knock sensor board in the P28 ECU. But you can't just ground the knocksensor wire either to the chassis.... tried it so many different ways on my old LS/VTEC CRX from grounding the wire, screwing the knock sensor into the chassis (way too much vibration there), and even into the head (tapped the 14mm PS hole to 17mm) and still nothing worked as good as behind the block with a shielded wire.... that or a chipped ECU program that doesn't look for knock.
