Default rough idle

I recently installed a Apexi VAFC in my car and ever since my car won't idle right. When it first starts, it idles fine, but after driving for a short time the idle is sporadic. I know that my first problem is I don’t know what the setting should be set for map sensor. My guess is that my o2 sensor might be on it's way out, and it's just change that it happened when I put in the VAFC. Also I haven’t been able to run past 7300rpms when before I could easily run to 8200rpms. (JDM B18C)

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for what I should do or how to trouble shoot my idle problem please let me know.

does your car idle like a ported RX7?

if so, i'd check your map sensor, or start to look in that area. double check wiring.

did you mess with the settings at all? If so set them back to stock and see how she idle's then.

My buddy had the same problem not being able to run past a certain rpm and his car would throw a code, it turned out he had messed with certain settings and didnt know he set them he cleared them and the problem went away.

The only setting that I have changed is the Sensor number and the Vtec engagement. The sensor number is for the map sensor, which is what I'm trying to figure out. I did try running it with all the stock setting, but it was doing the same thing. I've checked all of the wiring and all seem correct.

Thanks for your replies, I'll double check some of my settings.
