k20? and manual trans Swap into my 02 Ex AT and tall driver- worth it?
well, im a dumbass and got rid of my 99 civic, which i think is the best model for the civic. but now i have a 02 civic that i like but am thinking about a possible swap in the future since i dont wanna buy a new car. is changing the transmiswion from at to manual really that hard? it doesnt seem like it would be for someone who knows what theyre doing, and im pretty tall (6"2) so im not sure if my little civic, changed to manual would fit me. also, would my car be pretty fast witht he k20 ( the one with 220hp) compared to my bros 02 wrx? if its not faster than i will not accept failure and will not do a swap. what do u guys think?

Do it. You won't regret it. 
**** I'm 6'2" myself and I want a stick. I think it's better for us. We don't have to sit 2" from the steering wheel so we can push the clutch all the way down.

Its not 220 sir!!! Sorry the new one is only 210.. Jdm type r is 220

Get the right shifter. They have long ones, and ones that place the stick closer to you. And yes, do it. Your stock engine SUCKS. I mean its mechanically weak for a honda, i bet itd blow with 6lbs of boost with those pistons and rods. Yea, K series gives ya all the tech, a great base, and good torque.

Ok, so the biggest k20 engine is around 210-220 hp, how much hp could i gain off of simple bolt ons such as i/h/e? and will my bros wrx still be much faster- to be honest i didnt think his car was that fast when i drove it.
