has anyone ever drove there car with a turbo kit with no boost like every thing hook up and like the wastegate open or intercooling piping unhook so u see no boost i tried it and its like my car stop pulling at about 6,000 rpm's it just falls off and i got a .63 exhousing
a lot slower then when it was NA
a lot slower then when it was NA
ok, you expected it to be faster? When you unhook your piping, the wastegate sees no boost, and you can over spin the turbo. Dont do it.
Like OMG!

I'm doing that in a little bit... gonna wire the (internal) wastegate open before I take it into the shop to get fixed... some guy hit my car, creating $2400 in damage... last thing I want to happen is the body shop guys blowing up my motor!
Oh yeah, and another reason for disabling the turbo... the four bolts holding my turbo onto the header? yeah. all four nuts holding them on... fell OFF. just cuz i blew a gasket doesn't mean that the bolts have to fall off too!
The turbo's being held in by 3 bolts now, and liquid gasket, for the time being...

unhooking the wastegate and intercooler piping just makes your turbo kit one big restrictive exhaust system... so of course your car is gonna be slower
