Merry Christmas (to all the Christians)!
To everyone else, just enjoy the day off!!!
My dad got me a Momo Anatomica shifter and a set of Turismo pedals. Shifter feels nice! The clutch and brake pedals were easy enough to install, but I can't figure how I should do the accelerator (the Italian instructions don't help much).
It seems the oem plastic pedal cover should unbolt somehow. Otherwise I'll just have to go buy some longer bolts and just drill through the whole friggin thing!
I know someone else knows how it's done. Any help!
PS I didn't even ASK for the stuff for the car. I just said something like, "Oh, a sweater is fine." How cool is my dad?

OK. How about that search?!? I turned up one thread that basically says to hack and bash until it comes off.
So before I start down this path that may render my accelerator unusable, I just want to make sure there's not an easier way.
Anyone?

I just used pliers and pulled hard on the top corner until it came off and i could slide the thing off. Just be sure not to clamp the actual gas pedal.

Got it!
I had to bolt the bottom through one of the slots in the new pedal, rather than the pre-drilled hole because of the block thingie on the back. Still, it's solid, and the new ones grip way better than the bald old stock rubber pads.
Thanks!
