Default sleeves look like what? SIGNS??

I'm in the middle of buying a block with sleeves in it. What i want to know is how I can tell if it has iron sleeves or stock. I have t sleeves in my other block so its easy to tell. The guy said it was done by apexi but I didn't know they did sleeving. Help would be great. Thanks.

This question comes up so many times, I've cut and pasted what I have posted on another thread.

Look at the first pic, thats a stock sleeved B18

VS

A sleeved block with a whole new Iron Ductile Sleeve pressed in

you guys cant forget that there are also "REPLACEMENT SLEEVE INSERTS" its common for replacing in regular non-race engines. They have it available for many engines. They look like the 1st pic after they are done.

reciepts mean nothing-
local guy here bought a fully built motor-

dart block, je pistons, eagle rods, portflow head, and JG edlebrock manifold
went out and boosted the motor-- on 9psi something went wrong-- opened the block to find it was a stock LS block---

totally got ripped- he even got reciepts... turns out he got scammed sooooo hard. he paid for hte other guys new block---

the seller/scammer bought himself a new setup and sold his old motor (with reciepts) to the buyer/sucker..... somethings are worth doing yourself.
