Default GE sleeved blocks, what does the bottom of the sleeves look like?

When a block is sleeved by Golden Eagle, what does the bottom of the sleeved look like near where it is attached to the block itself? Is it smooth? Some of the Dratons i see look perfect and I just want to see how good the GE quality is?

if youre looking at the bottom of the block for the darton you wil be seeing the bottom of your stock sleeve.

Not on the darton block i have....all you see is the Darton sleeve all the way through the bottom. But on the GE I believe it is different and you can't see the sleeve really. I need some pics an dI can't find any by searching

interesting enough. Dartons use the stock sleeve as a seat, i wonder what then your sleeves are sitting on.

That's the only pic of my GE block that I DON'T have and I can't remember what it looked like underneath. Why do you want to know so bad? GE sleeves are awesome!!!

Uh, quality isn't necessarily all about looks. If you want quality, then check out the guys running 26+psi on these sleeves. 'Nuff said.

This post has nothing to do with how much boost or what people can do with GE blocks. Trust me when I see I know first hand what GE block's have or can be put through. I just want to see what the bottom of everyone block looks like.

Every one shows the top view, but I see no bottom view

Okay.... how's this?

Before

After

The rusty looking stuff you see is actually the orange silicone goo they put on the sleeves to seal the water jacket around the cylinders from the bottom part of the block...

I looked at the bottom side of a GE D series today and saw lots of brown yucky glue pushed out at the bottom of the sleeve

I always wondered how they sealed the bottom of those things...maybe thats how they get the occasional sleeve drop...some of that goey **** maybe dissintegrated from between the sleeve and block, cause a .001 or .002 drop?

The sleeves are actually sitting on the block. The brown goo that you see are on the sides of the sleeves.
