Help: Motor Shuts Off When Hot
Hi everyone im posting this for a friend of mine his car is boosted and it turns off when it gets hot. it doesnt happen all the time but it happens pretty much. it happens mostly during the day time does anyone know how we can fix this? im not sure of his exact set up but i know it is

Did you try messing with the idle % vs target idle?
If not, set idle% vs target so that at each breakpoint the idle learned is about -2 to -4%.

I think mine is doing this too. I also have the AEM and I'll be driving on the highway, and the engine just dies. If I turn the car off and wait a minute it will start again. I recently switched from .94 to 1.11 and I also switched from MSD back to stock ignition. I checked the coil dwell and it is set to 40, which is set for the stock coil. When I had the MSD and V94 I never had a problem. I'm going to install the C2DI and hope that that helps. I'll let you know.
