ok last night I relocated my tec 2 because I was having problems but that another story (tec getting replaced for megasquirt real soon). but I went to test drive the car and it wouldn't go pass 11psi. screwed in the boost controller all the way and still wouldn't go pass 11psi. then I removed the vaccum hose to the wastegate and boosted it and it would go to 5psi 2-3 gear and in 4th gear it would go to 15psi. You guys think the wastegate is messed up or just the boost spring inside?

Actually a better question would be how much is a rebuild kit?

 

Are your refering to a deltagate wastegate...if so they are ****

I have at least 3 sitting in my shop....everyone i know hates them including me...I would spend your mony on a tial...well worth the money
