well changed my leaky head gasket and now my car sputters and cuts out around 3500 or whenever i punch it. i have the plugs gaped at 29, usuallly i run around 30 or 31. the tach jumps around also. i have good grounds and i checked my ignition but i cant figure out wtf is going on. timing seems to be correct. any thoughts.. i have a s200bd shitdata i mean hondata.
check your distributor. it could be loose, or some of the plugs could be loose.
I had similar issues, and it was my distributor.
check your base timing as well.

My car was doing that as well and i went throgh everything youb have done at first until I changed my actual internal coil and that solved the problem,If you have anyfriends running the same engine you could swap it out first to see if thats what you problem is before spending the money on it.This is what i did with my boosted gsr

you may be dealing with two totally different problems that have nothing in common. The sputtering issue, did you try checking the fuel filter, or your fuel psi?The tach sounds like a loose groung or shorted out wire, i know you checked the ground but check also for continuity my.02 hope it helps out
did you have any luck?
My teg has similiar issues. Won't rev past 3500rpm and when you give in WOT it just gets really loud through the intake.
