Best B-series manifold for $800???
1st off I'd like to say I've searched and searched and searched. I personally bought one of the last Lovefab SSTs made, but he thought his manifold would cut it.
I'm trying to help out a good friend of mine who's searching for a good tubular/equal-length T3 flanged/38mm wastegate flanged turbo manifold for his 99-00 Si. He's already built and boosted and runs the RevHard tubular manifold but it has already cracked TWICE in less than 2 months. He's totally done w/ RevHard altogether.
He has $800 and wants one as soon as possible. He does not want a SFP b/c they are not equal-length. Full-Race manifolds are out of his price range, and LoveFab has discontinued the SST. I told him to check out OneFabrication and Peakboost!! We've tried to contact OneFab to ask a couple of questions but still haven't gotten through to them. He wants to order a manifold by Friday!!
What are some good tubular AND equal-length manifolds for $800 and under?? Oh he doesn't have PS or AC so that isn't an issue.
Thanks in advance for all replies!!

More than likely I'll call you and order the Peakboost manifold.
I've seen the neukin manifolds personally and they are cool but I don't feel it. I saw the 1st ones and I wasn't happy w/ the quality. My friend has one of his 1st ones and it never gave him any problems but that turned me off. The runners weren't evenly spaced and the welds were OK(at that time they were MIG welds).
Cheapturbo look for my call!!!

I have a Neukin mani and DP, and I think the quality is great. of course his first mani's are not gonna be as nice, but now he does everything tig and has a lot more experience...

Neukin's is a good price but he'll have to wait at least 2 weeks. The Peakboost manifold is IN STOCK!!
Also Neukin only warranties their manifold for 1 year while the Peakboost manifold has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I know it probably won't break but I like the warranty and I'll pay extra!!
Plus Ken @ Cheapturbo.com has EXCELLENT customer service and I'll do business w/ him anyday!!
A million and one thumbs up to PEAKBOOST AND CHEAPTURBO.COM

Neither is the SST or similar manifolds. The Mini-me has the same ratio of runner lengths as the SST, ie, the runners NOT equal length, by the same amount as the SST.
I say save $250 and get the highest quality tubular manifold for the price anywhere. Comes at a slightly higher price of downtime though, as youve experienced this first hand. Good things come to those who wait!
My $.02 again.

just some advice.. no matter what manifold you use, you should brace the turbocharger to the block to relieve weight and stress on the manifold. the manifold is designed to flow exhaust gases into the turbo, not to act as a hanger.
