Default Anybody use Cerwin-Vega! Subs?

I have two 10" Vega! Series subs with 600 watts. I want to get a new amp since they are VERY underpowered with a Kicker amp that I have. Any suggestions on what kind of amp to get for maximum performance?

Get a good class d amp. They are more efficient and are generally cheaper. Class D amps will take less current to make the same power as a class a/b amp. On subs you wont be able to tell the differences between class d and class a/b as far as sound quality.

Depends on how exotic you want to get:
-JBL mono amps are good you could get a bp600.1, or bp1200.1
-Mtx 81000d or the 500d would be a good candidate
-Lanzar vibe series 600 or 1200 (Actually rated very good by Car stereo Review)
-Crossfire bmf or cfa series 500-600? or 1000
-Kicker amps 1000
-Earthquake amps ph 700 (D2 would blow your subs)

-Planet audio (havent used this brand, the pa2500d is rated at 2500watts only did 1300 in magazine tests)
-Concept audio (havent used this brand, ccd2400 suppposed to be 2400 wattts have been getting mixed reviews about them)
-Orion xtr pro

Some other hi-end amps, More money though
Zapco c2k series
us amps class t (tripath technology)

precision power
orion class a/b
soundstream
The list could go on and on.

I would stick with the first list up top.

On a side note i have a zapco 9.0 xd ($2300 amp for my subs) An earthquake 1000 watt class a/b amp, precision power pc2400 and a ppi a200 art series amp.

I have one 15' DVC vega series and it kicks ***. The box is big but its a lil price to pay for the sound. I have 800 watts running to it off a crunch amp. Its an alright amp but its no fosgate.

Try a Memphis Audio class d subwoofer amp, those are pretty nice. A 1000d should work nicely.

I have a Cerwin Vega 10" Vega subwoofer, it sounds great, and is pretty damned loud for one ten, and that was with a small MTX amplifier, I was also underpowering mine( about 150 watts constant, should be able to handle some more. )

Thank you all for your suggestions...I didn't get any amp for Christmas (low on $$), but I will surely buy one starting next year (...resolutions??).
