im new here . well winters coming around and its time to park the z so im looking into buying a 89 civic its got high miles about 190. what are specific things i should look for when buying these cars. also what are some small cheap upgrades i can get so i can get a lil more than the whopping stock 100 hp hehe

im not buying the car to mod and make fast thats what my z is for i just want a lil beater car. and i always thought it would be funny to just make a lil ricer car hehe

 

i was just telling you that because the money that you would have normally spent on upgrades for the anemic motor, you could just buy a DOHC instead. these engines make the driving experience 3x funner than they would normally be.

 

im not gonna spend over 1k on my beater car. total cost of the car and the little mods i wanna p[ut on it.
