I would condemn the radiator cap. The Spoon one may be bad. Go to Auto Zone and buy a cap for 10 bucks and try again. If still the same, I would guess either a weak water pump, or damaged block
do you have a frontmount intercooler in the way. the reason i ask is i have one on my civic and theres not enough airflow to cool the engine while your driving. im having the same problem but i figured out how to keep my car cool by not giving it much gas. on hondas if you let off the throttle and gear down, that cools your engine also, thats what ive been doing. and keeping my fan on also. Hope this helps. let me know

Did you change the hoses?
some small cracks in hoses you will not see..
get a pressure guage kit and blast the whole cooling system.
Coolant will spew from where the leak is..if there is one..
if not..
you have a shitty aftermarket part.

The radiator cap lets water go into the reservoir when hot. As the system cools down it's supposed to suck that water back in. Something's letting it suck air instead?

have you bled the system to get the air out? Did you install the thermostat correctly?
WHY DID YOU CHANGED THE HEAD GASKET TO BEGIN W/. IS IT JUST CAUSED OF THE OVERHEATING? IF IT WAS, THEN HOW HOT DID IT GET BEFORE YOU DECIDED TO CHANGED THE HEAD GASKET? ALSO DID TOU CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR BLOCK AND CYLINDER HEAD WAS STRAIGHT AND NOT WARPED? JUST Q's THAT MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.

How long have you had the non stock fan. and is it spinning the correct direction?
I made that mistake once. Once I realised the fan was the problem....no problem!
I swaped polarity on the fan and it stopped o/heating when I drove it.
