external vs internal map sensors

external vs internal map sensors
ok here is the problem guys i hope you guys can help me out...and yes i tried to search but got lost...
i have a b20 block with a 00 Civic DX throttle body, i havent had a chance to get a good TB yet...but i re-used my JDM crv throttle body...the problem comes up is that i have CEL #3, which is map sensor, but my question is there a differences between external and internal map sensor? i ask a local honda salvage yard and they said it the same...if so why it threw that code? and how can i fix this
