Default HELP Vtec not working

I have a 95 EG hatch with a b16a2 swap. Had a turbo on it and it blow the bottom end. Ordered a new bottom end from a website, the guy said it was a b16a2 , everything fits and runs except rear motor mount is about 1 inch off.Double checked vtec wiring and manual powered up vtec sloneid and it works, also tryed another computer and it does not work. Now with everything on and running turbo too, everything works except the vtec. if someone could help maybe i got a b16a1 , and why doesnt the vtec work?? HELP

Why would the bottom end have anything to do with the head? Are you throwing any codes? Are you hitting a rev limiter or anything of the sort? How long has this been a problem?

no, even if you don't have a vtec bottom end, it has entirely nothing to do with it. If you couldn't use a B18a or b, then half of the guys in HT wouldn't be here.
