Vtec Pressue Switch Wire From Ecu....
Any-1 have a wire diagram of a chipped p28 ecu? Im trying to find out which wire is the Vtec Pressure wire. Jdm Itr, i gotta ground the vtec pressure wire but cant find out which wire it is and dont wanna ground the wrong 1
i know black is ground thats not what im asking, what color is the Vtec Pressure Wire that comes outta the back of the ecu, i need to "Ground" that wire
You piggy back the vtec pressure signal off the vtec solenoid.
Then leave the vtec pressure ground wire alone or ground it out if it is not...
Concerning the color, I am not sure I would have to look it up. Learn how to use pin diagrams...

have no vtec pressure switch, its a jdm swap so im supose to ground the vtec pressure wire from the ecu so the ecu reads it as always have pressure and therefore always having vtec
just gotta find out which wire it is

can you explain what you mean when you say
piggyback vtec oil pressure off of vtec signal
im kinda confused by that, explain in detail if possible, thanks for your time

D6 (+) grounds to D22 (-).
If the chasis and in-cabin ECU harness are OBD-1, then D6 is a blu/blk wire.
If you don't have that, then OBD-1 connectors count pins from top-down (even numbers on bottom), then left-right. Looking from the back-side of the harness, D6 would be the third from the left, on the bottom row.
You can also ground on the chasis if you don't feel like splicing, soldering, or repinning.

Bro i had the SAME problem I grounded it also but i think its the OIL pressure that the JDM motor lacks well watever I grounded a wire but ERICKS racing told me there is a chance it could burn my P28 ecu and plus the light came back on and the car was running wierd so I took it to ERICK and he jsut turned the Sensor off on the ECU it self and now its been 6 months NO problems
just make sure u CHECK YOUR OIL every week or two.
