Wassup guys, I did a compression and the number were very low.

Cyl 1- 140
Cyl 2- 80
Cyl 3- 40
Cyl 4- 120

My car is running fine, there no oil in coolant, gas mileage still great, my car has 80 thousand miles on it, recently adjust valve to see if it was cause of low compression, and doesn't burn any oil.

Something might be wrong with my engine though because even though it is running fine, there are brief momentarily times when it does not. Maybe once a week, my cel would come on for misfire on cyl 3 and the cause of that would be heavy sputtering at idle. But then, when the sputtering goes away my cel light would dissapear also.

 

How did you do the compression test (what steps)?
Those numbers are low, no question.
What year and trim level is the car?

 

Might wanna take it to a dealer or a mechanic... Those numbers are pretty bad... And by pretty bad I mean the really blow

 

Oh ye, it an 1998 Integra Gsr stock with only exhaust and intake.

 

hm.. my SiR motor is from a 94 w/ about 45k on it and I got 225-220-220-220, you def. want to take it to a mechanic and have it checked out. good luck
